Education and Training
I have a BS in Biology with a Concentration in Biotechnology from Yale University and a PhD in Immunology from Weill Cornell Graduate School of Medical Sciences. Following completion of my PhD, I performed postdoctoral research at the University of Birmingham (Birmingham, UK) and served as a Senior Scientist at a contract research organisation. With over 12 years in the lab, I have ample experience reading, writing, and editing scientific manuscripts, abstracts, presentations, and grant proposals. I have undertaken training with the Society for Editors and Proofreaders and the Publishing Training Centre. I have worked through global editing companies and directly with graduate students, postdoctoral fellows and faculty members.
Goals
I believe that language should not be a barrier to publishing scientific findings. I hope to help researchers present their work in clear, grammatically correct English, so that it can be evaluated on its merits without distracting errors. I will edit your work in a timely fashion, working with you to meet your needs.
